Please read the bios below to learn more about our great staff and why they are part of our amazing team.

Beth Sholom, Owner/
Executive Director

I have been the owner of Right at Home of Central New Jersey for the past 18 years (and the owner of Northern Monmouth County for the past 7 years and the owner of Mercer County since 2020).

I have a long history of caring about & for the elderly community. My mother worked for 35 years as an assistant to the director of a nursing home in Brooklyn,  a short distance from Staten Island, near where I grew up.

Both of my grandparents had to live in a nursing home. My grandmother lost both of her legs due to diabetes and my grandfather, who had lived with other family members, fell and broke his collar bone. He did not want to live away from his wife any longer so even though they were in separate beds on separate floors in the nursing home, they were together.

My experiences with my mother working at the nursing home and my grandparents living there inspired me to always want great care for seniors. I became an elder care attorney with a degree in special education so I could advocate for both the elderly and people living with handicaps. I also have my CALA (Certified Assisted Living Advisor) license so I could understand the needs of assisted living facilities when providing individual care to residents living in those facilities or when providing additional staff to work with their teams.

My passion has always been to ensure that my clients receive better care than my grandparents had, and I have worked for many years to make sure that happens. My motto and belief has always been and will always be that we at Right at Home of Central New Jersey will care for your family as we would for our own!

Ellen Burke, Social Media Manager and Client & Caregiver Satisfaction Specialist

Before I worked for Right at Home of Central New Jersey, I was a client who hired Right at Home of Central New Jersey to care for my father when he came home from an extended stay at a rehab facility, so I have experienced the care and understanding and compassion of both Beth Sholom and all of her caregivers first hand.

I manage all of our social media accounts as well as writing articles to provide good and helpful information to our caregivers, our partners, our clients and their family members. I also reach out to our clients to make sure that they are happy with the care they are receiving from Right at Home of Central New Jersey and to ask for any suggestions they have to help improve our care to their family members.

As a caregiver for a family member with dementia, I know only too well the challenges people face and how valuable in-home care can be. I'm honored to be part of this great team and particularly thrilled to be working with Beth Sholom, an amazing person, mentor and advocate for better home care for seniors.

Kieran Carmon, Marketing Manager

I get to combine my passion for helping people with my creativity. I'm  the person who designs our graphics to share information with our clients, their families, and our professional partners.

When I’m not assisting the office team, I enjoy creating art, hiking, kayaking, and rooting for my son in his various sports!

Hali Figueroa, Director of Client Care

Working for Right at Home of Central New Jersey has allowed me to follow my passion of helping people by providing them with a valuable service. As our office manager, I am often the first point of contact with our caregivers, our clients, and the various sectors of support for the elderly and their families.

I always do my best to  provide them with good information and try to act as a resource on pointing people in the right direction.

And that is my goal every day in my job at Right at Home of Central New Jersey.

As a person who has always focused on human resources, being able to work in that area at Right at Home of Central New Jersey lets me channel my energies and passions by providing client satisfaction and positive experiences with all those I deal with.
